Setting up a subdomain with Hector

What is a subdomain?

If you’d like to have a personalized link to your Hector instance, you can do so using a subdomain. This will allow you to direct users, customers and vendors to a link associated with your organization.

Important to note that this is a paid feature, unless you have the Cannon yearly service plan. Changing the web address will not have any impact on the the web or mobile application.

To better understand how this works, here is an example of a default instance that is first .

Here are a few examples of subdomains that will help personalize your instance of Hector.

https://hector.myorganization.com
https://myassetsmyorganization.com
https://inventory.myorganization.com
https://reservation.myorganization.com

It is not required to have Hector as part of the subdomain.
