  • The scheduling control uses data from asset maintenances, loaners, work orders, transfer orders, life span or any other date fields in the application.
  • The scheduling view can be turned on in the Settings > Assets > Display section.

Categories

Integrations

Available for the Castle plan

SCIM

SCIM, or System for Cross-domain Identity Management, is now available with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID. SCIM will help you save hours of data import tasks by synchronizing your users directly into Hector within 40 minutes of having turned it on. If you would like to know more, please read our how to guide.

Google Maps

Google Maps integration is now available with most of the pages within the Hector application. This will allow you to display dynamic maps showing the location of your inventory or stockrooms. You can read our guide to get started with this amazing new integration.

Mobile

Authentication

  • The mobile application now supports SAML authentication. SAML is a single sign on protocol allowing you to control the identity service provider for all your users.

Work Orders

  • Simplified adding lines to work orders by removing the tool, equipment and material buttons. These buttons have been merged into the Asset button.

Refactorization

  • Parts of the mobile application have gone under refactorization efforts in order to integrate new libraries and push the boundaries of what the application can deliver in its ease of use, as well as performance.
  • The efforts will be completed in May, and new features will be introduced gradually throughout the summer. Stay tuned for the improvements!
