How does it work?
Once your Hector account is set up, you can easily generate barcodes or QR codes for all your assets directly from your account. You can enter product information such as asset name, category, brand, serial number, organization logo, location, loan duration, lifespan, scheduled maintenance, minimum stock levels to reorder, linked purchase orders or sales orders, and more. The barcode generator allows you to customize the labels according to the types of barcodes you need, including changing the format, font size, margins, and more. You can even use your existing codes if you already have them in place.
You can use a thermal printer or print them in any way that suits your needs, then label the items accordingly.
After that, you can easily scan barcode labels with the mobile app (Android and iOS) on your mobile device, or use barcode scanners, and assign them to an employee, a new location, consume the item, update it, do your inventory count, and more.
