What is an action QR code?
An action QR code is a label that automatically triggers an operation on your inventory as soon as it is scanned: move an asset, consume one, report a use, make a reservation. That is exactly what Hector’s Iris module does.
The difference from a standard QR code? An identification QR simply shows an asset’s record. An Iris code runs the action you assigned to it: you scan, fill in the details if needed, and your inventory updates instantly, with no navigating through the app.
