Spring is in the air, and so is change!
Hector has just released a massive batch of new features, improvements, and updates.
Here are a few of the new features we’ve just rolled out:
Inventory Management
1. Simplified Creation of Multiple Assets
We’ve redesigned the asset creation page to help you add multiple assets to your inventory more quickly and efficiently.
2. Revamped Inventory Validation
Not only have we given the inventory validation page a complete visual makeover to improve your experience, but you can now also choose which assets to include in an inventory validation before it’s submitted. When completing inventory validation, users can also indicate whether the assets are present or missing.
3. Improved Inventory Counts
Several other enhancements have been made to inventory counts. Here are a few highlights:
- Visual redesign of the count page on the web app.
- Ability to scan assets without interruption using the new Quick Scan option.
Ability to take actions on missing assets during the adjustment phase of a count.
4. Label Customization
You now have full control over the positioning of elements on your labels. Just grab an element and drag it to where you want it!
5. New Field: Made in
You can now specify the country of manufacture for your assets, giving you quick insight into the origin of your inventory and allowing you to gather useful statistics.
Loan Module
1. Custom Loan Statuses
It’s now possible to customize loan statuses to fit your processes and operations.
2. Custom Filters for Reservation Catalogs
Hector now offers full customization of the filter section in your public reservation catalogs!
3. Customized Loan Printouts
Loan printouts can now be tailored to your preferences.
4. Easier Addition of Lots to Loan Cart
A new option allows you to add a lot directly to your loan cart without any manual entry.
5. Sorting Loan Item Lists
You can now sort the list of items in a loan to make it easier to navigate.
6. Kit Management in Loans
Kit components can now be added to a loan and managed individually. Each component can be loaned, returned, swapped, or removed independently of its kit.
We’ve also added a new Incomplete Kit Management Table, allowing you to quickly view kits that are missing components or components that were loaned out separately from their kits.
Mobile App
1. Zebra Integration – RFID
Hector’s mobile app is now integrated with the Android Zebra TC22/27 device—an ideal solution to boost your inventory input and scanning processes with RFID chip technology!
Hector’s app now supports RFID chip reading to make your operations faster. For more details, visit our website.
2. Visual Redesign
We’ve also given the main menu of the mobile app a visual refresh, including a new Create button, among other enhancements.
